ICA partners with four other carwash associations to promote WaterSavers™

CHICAGO — The International Carwash Association™ has announced a new collaboration with four other carwash associations to help facilitate support for its WaterSavers™ program, a promotional program focused on the environmental benefits of professional carwashing, according to an Association press release.
The Jan. 11 release said effectively immediately, members of the Canadian Carwash Association, the Mid-Atlantic Carwash Association, the Southeastern Car Wash Association and the Western Carwash Association will be eligible to participate in the program as part of the WaterSavers Alliance.
According to the Association, nearly 900 locations across the United States and Canada are already enrolled in WaterSavers. Carwashes implementing water management best practices are eligible to participate in WaterSavers for $49 per location annually.
The release said the alliance represents an unprecedented level of cooperation amongst carwash associations and a shared recognition of the importance of advancing the industry’s commitment to water conservation and quality.
“We are very excited to begin working with these outstanding partners and their members in growing the WaterSavers program,” said International Carwash Association CEO Eric Wulf. “Promoting our industry’s responsible use of water – both in terms of usage and quality – is a shared priority for each of our organizations and one we are now aligned in supporting,” said Wulf.
A new WaterSavers Board of Advisors will be established in order to support the Alliance’s work.
